You can reach our branch easily by public transport, please exit at Karlsplatz (Stachus). On the left side you will see the Hypo Vereinsbank. Please pass it and after 70m you will find the SIXT branch.
Return information
Please return your SIXT vehicle at the parking garage "Stachus Einkaufszentrum (EKZ)". Access via Sonnenstrasse into Herzogspitalstrasse. Use only parking level U3! As an alternative you can also enter "Herzog-Wilhlem-Str. 11, 80331 München" as address in your GPS as you will find the entrance to the parking garage directly opposite this address.

To be honest, my experience with Sixt has been flawless so far. This is my third time renting a car with them and everything went perfectly. Dagna, at the front office, she was super helpful and attentive, which you definitely do not expect from somebody on a Sunday morning at 07:00AM.
In addition, given that the car we booked was not available, we got an upgrade to a much nicer car, an Audi SQ7 SUV, with a 507hp V8 engine, which was more than enough to cruise around the German alps during our trip. The car itself was in pristine condition.
Both key pick up and return were super smooth and fast, just as the release of the deposit and the post rental car check. In case you return the car late at night when there’s no personnel, the key return box seems to have sort of a sensor that detects keys and we got email confirmation a few minutes after, which is reassuring and not all car rentals have this system.
Another very helpful thing to bear in mind is that just outside the car park there’s a 24h petrol station, which makes things easy upon return.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this office.

Would highly recommend renting from this location-we picked up our car at 8:00 on a Monday morning and didn’t have to wait long at all. Our representative spoke English and gave very clear instructions for getting the car. You do need to walk from the rental office on Karlsplatz to the underground parking garage, which is accessible from the Karlsplatz Stachus underground complex. The car was very nice, clean, and well maintained. There is a gas station right next to the garage so you can refuel right before dropping it off. Drop off was very easy; you just take a parking garage ticket upon entering and follow the signs for Sixt. You put the keys in the drop box and that’s it-you receive confirmation and an invoice via email. Very seamless and easy!
