By car
From the city center of Funchal, head north on Caminho do Lombo Segundo towards Miradouro de São Roque. Please take note that Caminho do Lombo Segundo turns slightly right and becomes Estrada Cmte. Camacho de Freitas. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Estrada da Fundoa. Turn left onto the ramp to Funchal(Este)/Machico/Aeroporto which will then merge onto VR1. On the VR1, take exit 22 towards the Madeira International Airport. You will find the Madeira International Airport on your left.
