To rent a car with SIXT in Malaysia, the renter must present a valid driver's license and an ID card or passport, and must have held the license for at least 2 years.
If your license is written in a non-Roman alphabet, such as Arabic, Japanese, or Cyrillic, you will need an International Driving Permit. If your license was issued in a country that is not party to the Geneva or Vienna conventions, you will need either an official English translation, for rentals under one month, or an International Driving Permit for longer rentals.
Photocopies, digital licenses, learner's permits, and licenses with restrictions are not accepted. The minimum age to rent is 21 for all vehicle classes.
